Fred Pfeiffer : A Shade of Difference - 1972

by Allen Drury
Another Drury cover by Fred.
As in the previous two this one has
a small illustration and big lettering
surrounding it.

As I was blowing this one up to
clean up for the spotlight I noticed the
gentleman in the brown suit looks
like the man at the microphone in the
Throne of Saturn illustration. Another leggy
lady makes this piece even more interesting at least for me.

This is the third of a series of 3 Allen Drury books that Fred did for Avon in 1972.

This book is the sequel to Advise and Consent.Four more sequels followed A Shade of Difference: Capable of Honor, Preserve and Protect, Come Nineveh, Come Tyre, and The Promise of Joy. None of the following sequels featured Pfeiffer artwork.

All the books were political intrigue. The Throne of Saturn is about a US planned trip to Mars.
