This was a quick little study of Fred. I left it in an under painting state sort of like Fred did at times. dried quick and I added the vertical Pfeiffer. Fred had those long Sideburns that were popular in the 70's. I am sure the photo must be from that era. I will ready "the Photo" and get it up. The only picture of Fred we have. I will let Courtney explain it's origins and credits and his thoughts on it. I hope this lone picture is joined by many new ones. sp
Scotty presented me with this extremely well done protrait of Fred. I love how his added the Pfeiffer signature to the side of the painting...in the same position that Fred seemed to favor in signing his artwork!
Scotty is a very talented painter in his own right, and you will see his Pfeiffer Doc Savage recreations on this site before too long.
