Pocket Books January 1971 3rd Printing
This book was found yesterday and it was appropriate to post it in January.
Another Pfeiffer illustration with quite a bit going on in the painting. Check out the small piece on the left showing a young boy in a village. Lots of detail.
The American flag is portrayed quite differently than usual. The Pfeiffer signature is located under the lower right part of the flag.
Is that another portrait on the left of Fred's ex-wife Mercedes?

Great find, Courtney! I swear you never know what you are going to find in your Mr. Rogers neighborhood. I am glad you have gotten this down to a science. You are the content of this blog and it wouldn't be without you. I really like this cover. His design shows your eye where to go and it is rendered flawlessly.
