by Daphne du Maurier
Fred does Mary Anne again.
Sounds tacky, sorry.
Pfeiffer with another chance to
paint a cover for this novel.
It's gorgeous. The girl is beautiful
and the flower design in particular catch your
eye. Plenty of color here.
It is strange that a scant 2 years later, Pfeiffer is replacing his own cover!
I asked Len Leone why the publisher decided to change some (not all) cover art on re-issued titles, and he said they wanted to "freshen them up."
This change in cover style for the Pocket Du Maurier books is only matched, so far, by Breaking Point. Maybe there are other Pfeiffer titles with this style of cover that have not been discovered yet.
