This is a book that was found on line while
I was searching for some Pfeiffer covers.
It was hard to see as the picture was small.
Amazon has it listed and has several used
starting at 51.00 dollars. I don't imagine Courtney
or myself springing for it. The cover, time period
and technique look a lot like Fred to me. There is
a signature at the bottom left of the illustration.

Clearly a Pfeiffer cover. Especially when he did the first book in the series, Children of Kaywana.
I have seen the book on eBay and it included a small picture of the back cover, which contains some line artwork with half finished painting, both trademarks of Pfeiffer.
