This red tone illustration is one color that Pfeiffer did not seem to use very often. It is another great painting.This book was published by Fawcett in December 1980 and is over 500 pages long. Despite the red cover, the thick spine is white.
You're right, this sort of red tone is rarely seen in Fred's work...but I too find this piece appealing, especially that yacht.
Cadmium red, yellow and orange oil paint take forever to dry.
