This book was brought to our attention by mightymftfr in France. Thank you for the head's up!
What was a surprise to me is that he alerted us to 3 Bantam Book covers of Pfeiffer from 1983! My past research had shown that Fred was hot and heavy with Bantam, probably on contract, from 1972 through 1979. Then he moved from NYC to LA and stopped contact with Len Leone and Jerry Counihan at Bantam soon after that.
Now I have to re-expand my Bantam Books search to include fatter paperbacks with higher price points.
