Fred Pfeiffer : Small Town In Germany - 1969 - Complete Cover

Since we made the original post on this cover we have updated the
collection with a better copy of the book,
I put it all together and removed the lettering
for a better look at it.

Although we are not 100% sure this is a Pfeiffer, the style does reflect
Fred's work and the time period is right. So for the vibe and completeness,
we offer it for consideration in hopes some one out there might know for
sure or at least share their thoughts on this nice illustration.

Scotty- Great job in putting this together. It looks magnificent!

The clothes and city scape all look like Pfeiffer. Plus the trenchcoat is done in purple tones which was an early Pfeiffer highlight. The dating of 1969 is right, although I have not found another early Dell paperback that has his art on it.

Anyone out there have any differing thoughts and/or definitive information on this piece?

I think this IS a Pfeiffer. The coloring, the design and especially the positioning of the central element against that Pfeiffer-like background all argue in favor of an attribution to Fred for this piece.
