The woman looks very familiar, like Eva Peron or someone like her. The Pfeiffer signature is vertical and located under the man's pistol.I found this book in Modesto, California while visiting Howard Wright and Terry Allen in June, 2011.
She is not Eva Peron. She is Ava Gardner (with Stewart Granger) in the homonimous film.
